Filmmaking is a kinetic art form, requiring technical expertise and an ability to bring upon the best from who you're working with. Working as a team and efficient communication is paramount during production. On-set film jargon is fun, but having the leadership skills to produce what you want is going to get you what you want.
It's almost comical thinking back how much work was put into most of these ideas in hindsight.
